The “Ringberg Euroconference:New Trends in Neutrion Physics”Was held form May 24 to 29,1998 at the RINGBERG caastle,which is located in the Bavarian Alps overolling Lake Tegernsee.The Castle is owned and operated by the Max Planck Society.The conference brought together 44 experinental and theortical physicists for all over the world who are actively working in neutriono physics and in closey tal results and to exchange new theoretical ideas on the phenomenology of neutrios within and beyond the standard model of particle physics,as well as in astrophysics and cosmlolgy ,The formal scientific programe consisted of 35 talks,each of which took 35 minutes,followed by 10 minutes of usually lively discussion Nearly as in teresting as the sessions was the informal in teraction between the attendants ,which was facilitated by the accommodation of all participants under one roof in the castle creating a fruitul productive and relaxed working atmosphere.
